Let's look at the four astrological events taking place in the next two weeks:

-> July 27, Mercury and Venus conjunction in Leo.

-> August 1st Full Moon in Aquarius 

-> August 6th Sun in Leo square Uranus in Taurus

As we begin a new week, Venus is already retrograde, prompting us to re-assess our relationships and finances in order to realise what truly matters and what sparks our desires and hopes—the retrograde ends on September 3. On July 27, Mercury and Venus in Leo conjunction uplifts and positively influences friendships, romantic, and all sorts of pleasant social outings. Since Venus will be retrograde at the time, under the influence of this planetary combination, you may find yourself reconnecting with friends or people, in general, you haven't seen for a while, or perhaps you may be returning to books or movies you have wanted to read or watch for some time. It is also a perfect time to travel to places you are familiar with or those you have already visited in the past; museums, art galleries and theatres could also be the highlight of your week. 

Mercury enters the perfectionist earth sign Virgo on July 28, where it will remain until October 4. This lengthy stay in Virgo is due to Mercury turning retrograde in Virgo on August 23, 2023, until September 15, 2023. It is the third of three Mercury Retrograde cycles in 2023, occurring exclusively in the Earth signs. Mercury's retrograde motion in Virgo will make us realise how impactful words or communication can be. I will write more about this event in August. Still, while Mercury travels in direct motion in the sign of perfectionist Virgo, we will become more attentive, focused, and even more detail-oriented, making this an excellent time for dealing with matters concerning complex work, daily life, or anything that makes you feel productive. With Mercury in Virgo, you will likely become more critical and, simultaneously, more focused on what could be improved or done better. 

The Aquarius Full Moon falls on August 1. Aquarius is a fixed sign connected to the unusual, modern futuristic and unexpected. A full moon in Aquarius allows us to see life/things from a different perspective. There is a greater focus on group activities, humanitarian matters, social justice and freedom. A full moon occurs when the transiting Moon and the Sun meet at the same degree in the opposing signs. Full Moons are connected to endings, things coming to a culmination. It is a time to take action and eliminate whatever is unnecessary so that you can move forward fully recharged into the next lunar phase. During a moon phase in Aquarius, we may seem emotionally detached on the outside, focusing more on our intellect than our emotions. Group activities, humanitarian rights and social justice are also some of the major topics of this lunar phase.

Aquarius is ruled by two planets. Uranus is the modern ruler, while Saturn is the traditional ruler. However, even though both these planets rule the same sign, they represent distinct energies. Uranus wants to free itself from any structures or restrictions. It forces towards the new, rejecting any outdated traditions and ways of behaviour. At the same time, Saturn wants to maintain the old systems, laws and rules, and there comes the conflict between our desire for individuality and the need for unity. Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius, is in opposition to the messenger of the zodiac - Mercury, while Uranus is connecting to Venus by a square (tense aspect, unfortunate for the economy, money matters, taxation and the Exchequer). Saturn and Mercury opposition suggests arguments over boundaries and limits. Mercury is connected to communication, trade, commerce and transportation. Mercury connecting by opposition to Saturn can create chaos in trade, business and railways, dissatisfaction, and strikes, and it is unfortunate for writers and publishing.

June's full moon highlights your social life and group activities. You may attend a wedding reception, a community event or a series of workshops. Since the eleventh house governs not only companionship but is also the area of the chart responsible for your most profound hopes and wishes, some of your deepest desires and goals may come to fruition around this time.

♉︎ TAURUS ♉︎

This full moon falls in your career sphere, bringing a possible culmination to a career-related matter. This full moon highlights your work, reputation and public life. A work-related situation may come to a conclusion, or alternatively, a promotion or recognition for your achievements may come your way. If you have been actively looking for a new job, you may get an exciting job offer or complete a significant project that brings positive feedback. Suppose you are self-employed and working in the creative industry. In that case, you may gain an exciting new client with a significant project that could be related to the entertainment endeavour.

This full moon influences your desire for freedom, adventure and long-distance travel. It may also be when you finally complete your research on a thesis or other important assignment. Your personal beliefs, views and opinions may be tested now. Your instincts, motivations and faith matter, and all of the attention you've been giving to everyday affairs have you wondering when you will finally have some time for fun. Your adventurous side of nature needs some stimulation as it demands your attention.

♋︎ CANCER ♋︎

The Aquarius full moon lands in your eighth house of financial matters and transformation. As with every full moon, this is a process of purification, and with the eighth house activation, you may suddenly have an inner desire to bring more energy into the area of life that lost its spark. At the same time, this is a great full moon for going on a detox. On a different level, you might be dealing with anything related to investments, mortgages, taxes and insurance and concluding talks on a financial matter concerning these kinds of funds.

♌︎ LEO ♌︎

This full moon turns your attention onto your significant other. With the full illumination in your relationship sphere, everything connected to your relationship and love life becomes more evident. This full moon may create a strong desire to spend quality time with your significant other. On a different level, you may receive unexpected news from your partner or someone close to your heart.

♍︎ VIRGO ♍︎

This full moon may bring a vital work project to a conclusion. On a different level, those currently unemployed and seeking employment may get a job offer, and this person might be highly impressed by your skills and talents. On the other hand, if you are a freelancer or self-employed, this full moon may bring in a new and exciting client. Changes in your diet or eating habits may also occur throughout this time.

The Aquarius full moon falls in your romantic sector. The outcomes of this full moon will be spontaneous and maybe even surprising. If you are single, you may go on a blind date arranged by a close friend, or alternatively, you may meet someone interesting at a social event. If you are in a solid relationship, plan a romantic dinner out.

Alternatively, you may have a strong need to express yourself in a creative sense. Under this full moon's influence, you might also be recognised for your hard work. It could be as little as positive feedback, but it would still feel like a motivating and encouraging experience.

Your domestic situation will likely be on your mind during this full moon. It is the best full moon of this year for dealing with home and family-related matters. Things could suddenly change unexpectedly if you have been actively looking for a new place to live, especially if you continue to review your options. If this isn't related to a house move, then your current home might be undergoing a renovation and around the full moon, you may find the right specialist to help you with your home project.

♐︎ SAGITTARIUS ♐︎

This full moon may produce an inner desire to plan a short trip outside town or to visit your relatives or friends. You may also receive some exciting news out of the blue or have some strong realisation regarding an important matter in your life following a deep conversation with another person. Learning, reading, writing, studying and working with your hands (gardening) is also emphasised during this time.

♑︎ CAPRICORN ♑︎

This full moon will fully illuminate your financial sphere of earned income and material wealth. For some, this might be when you finally hear from your superior about a potential pay rise. Watch out for any obsessive or compulsive behavioural patterns, as these may lead to you becoming overly demanding or controlling of others. If this isn't related to a pay rise, you may finally have a chance to purchase something you've wanted to get for a long time. Budgeting and financial planning could also be the theme of this full moon for you.

This full moon is one of the most significant this year as it is happening in your sign. It may bring an important life matter to either fruition or completion. During this time, you may see some significant development of something you have unanticipated for a while. Now, during this full moon, it may appear unexpectedly and bring lots of satisfaction. Greater awareness of your physical appearance and age is also possible, but since Venus is now retrograde, think carefully before committing to significant beauty treatments. Stick to what you are familiar with instead of experimenting with something unfamiliar. 

♓︎ PISCES ♓︎

The Aquarius full moon falls in your area of hidden matters. Whenever there is a full moon in the twelfth house, there is often some ending to the life chapter or a story in one's life. It might be the case for you, too, while, on the other hand, during this time, you may need more time to relax and reflect upon your past. You may also have a more vital need for privacy, preferring to be alone rather than socialise. In addition, this might be an incredibly creative time, so take advantage of these artistic energies. 

On August 6, the Sun will square Jupiter in Aries, boosting your vitality and drive. You will already begin to notice the influence of this aspect around the Aquarius full moon on August 1. Since squares tend to create tension, if you feel restless or discontent throughout this time, try channelling that nervous energy into creative pursuits or pursuing your ambitions. If you stay on track, you can make significant progress toward your long-term goals. Watch out for unrealistic expectations, wasted opportunities and promising to others more than you can realistically deliver. On a mundane level, when the Sun (rules the leader of the country, the Government) makes a challenging connection with Uranus (rebellious energy), this can lead to sudden and unexpected announcements of new legislations and laws, leading to strikes and manifestations in some parts of the world.
