On Monday, May 15th, Mercury finally ends its retrograde phase in stable 5° Taurus.  Since Mercury is well-aspected by Venus and Saturn as it shifts into a direct motion, the few days before and after May 14th offer a new and fresh direction. Jupiter enters Taurus on May 16th, where it will stay until May 25th, 2024. Jupiter's ingress into a new sign is one of the most important transits of the year, suggesting that something in our lives is about to change. Jupiter is the planet of growth, expansion, and abundance. The sign Jupiter transits tells us where we may experience growth and abundance. Jupiter in Taurus will turn our attention to material possessions, financial development, and it will increase our desire for comfort and stability. Jupiter in Taurus will encourage us to take practical steps toward achieving our objectives, particularly in the economic area and in matters connected to material stability and personal values.  

How Jupiter's ingress into Aries will Influence Your Rising Sign?

ARIES RISING

When Jupiter moves into your financial sphere, you will have the inner desire to grow in the sphere of material possessions and resources. Whatever it is that you value, you will want to increase it. Plan your goals and objectives concerning your financial sphere, possessions, and resources wisely, especially if you need more clarity about what you need and want; otherwise, you might make bad decisions and have regrets later. This should be a period of growth and expansion regarding your financial income and ability to make money. For some people, this can indicate a sudden financial windfall. New income streams are also possible at this time. Think about ways in which you would like to improve your financial situation in general.

TAURUS RISING

It is an exceptional transit for you! Jupiter will move into your twelfth house of secrets, hidden matters and privacy. This may begin a period when you decide to focus on yourself for quite some time. You might become more of an introvert with a greater need for solitude. However, it might also be a very healing time, both physically and mentally, psychologically, or spiritually. Throughout this time, Jupiter will form a harmonious connection with your tenth house of a career, helping you attract people who can help you move forward in search of your life objectives and ideals. Since the twelfth house is also the last of the twelve houses, in some ways, this transit is like a sort of completion of a twelve-year cycle in preparation for a new twelve-year cycle when Jupiter moves into your sign – Gemini next year in 2024. 

CANCER RISING

Jupiter's entry into your friendships sphere ruled by Taurus on May 16th will be a period of growth and expansion for your friendship circle. LEO RISING

Jupiter enters your career sector this month, boosting your career life from May 16th until May 25th, 2024. This is the first time in over a decade that you've had Jupiter in your tenth house of recognition, awards, and achievements—this is remarkable! It can be an excellent period for growth in your professional life. You might be either starting a project or a business that will eventually lead to career success or if you've been working towards something for a long-time, you may finally see some fruitful results from your hard efforts. Suppose you are not planning on changing your career. In that case, this transit may bring a promotion at work or improve your relationship with your bosses and managers, leading to tremendous career success.

VIRGO RISING

Jupiter enters your sphere of foreign affairs ruled by stable Taurus on May 16th, where it will stay until May 26th. This can be a great time to start learning something new that will let you expand your horizons regarding your belief system, life philosophy, and exposure to things different from what you are used to. You may have an opportunity to travel, learn a new language or start a new course of study. LIBRA RISING

Jupiter moves into your eighth house of transformation ruled by Taurus on May 16th. You may get a generous insurance payout, tax refund, or benefit from a grand government scheme. You may also be approved for a bank loan, tax return or mortgage. On a different level, for some Libras, since the eighth house is the second house from the seventh house of partnerships and relationships, it represents the partner's finances. So Jupiter's transit through the eighth house could also indicate a sudden pay raise. Whatever the scenario, often Jupiter transiting the eighth house suggests an improvement of finances due to the partner's finances improving during that time.

SCORPIO RISING

Jupiter moves into your seventh house of relationships and partnerships ruled by Taurus on May 16th. In terms of romantic relationships, this can be a significant period to start new relationships as new relationships that begin throughout this transit will likely grow and blossom. So if you're single, it can be an excellent time to look for a new relationship. Alternatively, suppose you're already in a relationship. This transit can signify a new period in your relationship or a new chapter where things start going particularly well. This transit can make it easier to attract like-minded individuals to your life. Generally, with Jupiter transiting your seventh house, you attract people into your life. 

SAGITTARIUS RISING

This can be a pretty fruitful period of growth and expansion for your employment. Alternatively, if you are planning on hiring somebody that may turn out to be very promising and bring a much more optimistic and growth-oriented energy into your workplace. The sixth house is also the sphere of health, and especially in terms of Jupiter transits, it can sometimes be good for focusing on health issues that may have been neglected in the past. Still, you may find new treatments under Jupiter's influence or get medical advice from a doctor. In some case scenarios, that advice might work out better during this transit as you have Jupiter going through your sixth house of health and work.

CAPRICORN RISING

From May 16th, Jupiter will be in your fifth house, one of the more positive houses associated with children, fun, pleasure, creativity, romance, hobbies and interests. This transit can indicate a period of growth and expansion and success in these spheres of life. For those that want to have children or are planning on having children, having a Jupiter transit travelling through the fifth house is usually one of the best periods to conceive and have a baby. On a different level, working with children can be a relatively positive period. With Jupiter's transit in the fifth house, there is often a stronger need to express oneself creatively while initiating new projects and hobbies. Regarding romance, Jupiter in Taurus can be enjoyable for romantic engagements, as these may please you.

AQUARIUS RISING

When Jupiter moves into your fourth house of home and family matters, opposite your career sphere, this can be an excellent time for improving your home and living situation. Suppose things have been rocky regarding your home and living conditions lately or for a while, this transit can indicate several months when things are more promising or optimistic. Jupiter transiting the fourth house will benefit any home improvement. You may find new ways to grow, develop, expand, and create a solid foundation in your home base. Since the fourth house is also related to our parents, if you've had any challenges in terms of your family or your parents in the past, it can also be a period where things could just be going relatively well, or there could be something positive that happens in the lives of one or both of your parents.

PISCES RISING

Jupiter will move into your third house of Taurus on May 16th, and it will likely increase your contacts within your community and immediate surroundings. Your daily life will become more vivid, and your communication with others will grow and be better than usual. Your relationship with siblings and relatives will be pretty good. While Jupiter travels through your third house, you will be learning how to communicate better and more effectively. Some people may start learning a language during this time, while others might create a blog, start writing a book, or join a new social networking site where they begin learning how to write and express themselves more clearly and effectively. If that's something you've been meaning to do, this can be a great time to achieve more success and recognition than at other times. 

As soon as Jupiter moves into Taurus, it will form a challenging aspect with transformative Pluto (exact on May 17th) in Aquarius at 0° Aquarius. This tense energetical clash can create tension and conflict between our need for material wealth, growth, and our desire for superiority and transformation. This aspect will likely challenge us to confront and look deeply at our values, goals and beliefs, question whether they reflect our deepest 'self' and make us wonder what we truly want from our lives and let go of anything that no longer serves us our growth and development.  

The New Moon on May 19th falls at 28° of Taurus. This is one of the most promising New Moons of the year because it connects harmoniously with other planets (sextile Mars, Neptune, and trine Pluto). This New Moon will significantly benefit those born on the cusp of Taurus/Gemini, Cancer/Leo, Virgo/Libra, Scorpio/Sagittarius, Capricorn/Aquarius and Pisces/Aries.

PISCES RISING

Alternatively, changes in your local area could happen. It's also an excellent time for implementing something new into your everyday routine. On a different level, you may have a strong need to learn a new skill or improve an existing one.

Mars enters Leo on May 20th, where it will stay until July 10th. With Mars in the sign ruled by the Sun, we will likely find it easier to connect to our hearts, and this in turn will make us feel more in tune with life and more confident about our efforts and actions.

Mars will form a challenging aspect with Pluto in Aquarius as soon as it moves into Leo. The intensity of this aggressive polarity is powerful, likely making us question what we need to overcome personal, professional, and social obstacles.  

The Sun enters Gemini on May 21st until June 20th, increasing our curiosity, open-mindedness, and ideas. Happy birthday to all Geminis! You will likely feel more alive and energised as soon as the Sun enters your sign, Gemini. On the other hand, Gemini season might feel like more of a reflective period for Cancers. Why is that? When the Sun travels through the sign that is before our Sun sign (or Ascendant sign), we often go through a period of self-reflection and have a greater need for withdrawal and contemplation.
