On October 4th, 2023, Mercury enters Libra. However, before Mercury enters into Libra on October 4th, the messenger planet will form an opposition to Neptune in Pisces and a trine to Pluto in Capricorn, promoting daydreaming and imagination. Mercury in Libra makes communication more diplomatic and tactful, and our negotiation skills will likely improve significantly during this time. Libra is a cardinal sign connected to taking action and initiating. This transit aims to move forward, start conversations, and reach agreements.

Suppose you've been feeling stuck throughout the month of September since the Mercury retrograde phase ended. In that case, Mercury's transit in Libra is an excellent opportunity to finally make those crucial decisions that have been holding you back and creating delays.

In the final days of its stay in Libra, Mars will connect with the South Node of the Moon and square (tense energy) Pluto in Capricorn on October 9th, allowing us to release tremendous power and achieve amazing things.

On October 11th, 2023, Pluto goes direct at 27° Capricorn. When an outer planet like Pluto changes direction, its energy is more potent than usual.

Expect intense thoughts, feelings, and events to stimulate profound transformation. Pluto's station will be especially relevant for those with planets in the final degrees (25°-29°) of cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. 

Mars enters Scorpio on October 12th, where it feels great because, in this fixed, influential sign, Mars becomes assertive, persistent, relentlessly pursuing its goals until it reaches its objective, transforming whatever stands in its way. As soon as Mars enters Scorpio, it will form a harmonious connection with Saturn in Pisces, helping you move forward with a goal or idea that seemed too complicated or out of reach before. 

The South Node Solar Eclipse in Libra takes place on October 14th. A solar eclipse is six times stronger than a regular new moon. It is a south node lunar eclipse, meaning that this is somewhat a clearing-away time or a phase when we may have to move away from a situation or a relationship that is no longer working in our life in order to make space for more positive events to come to us.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse opposes Chiron in Aries, simultaneously creating a certain degree of fragile energy when old memories and wounds may come alive again. Since Libra is a cardinal sign, this is a wonderful time to take action and make the necessary arrangements to improve your life situation. Mercury is also opposite Chiron, making talking about complex issues and challenging situations easier.

Those with their Sun, Moon, or Ascendant at around 21º Aries or Libra or those born between 11-15 of October or 8-14 of April will be most profoundly impacted by this Eclipse and will likely be going through significant life changes in the next three months.
