June Events
On June 6, Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and values, returned home to one of her favourite signs — Taurus. In Taurus, Venus is dignified, earthy, and unapologetically sensual. She thrives here, inviting us all to slow down, enjoy the simple pleasures of life, and reconnect with what feels truly nourishing. Until July 4, expect a shift toward more grounded, stable expressions of love, creativity, and connection. This is a time to enjoy what you already have rather than chase what’s missing. When Venus is in Taurus, there’s a deeper appreciation now for consistency, loyalty, and physical presence and connection in relationships.
On June 8, Mercury, the planet of communication, thought, and perception, entered the emotionally attuned sign of Cancer, where it will remain until June 26. This marks a shift from the quick-witted, mentally agile energy of Mercury in Gemini to a more intuitive and emotionally driven style of thinking and speaking. Conversations take on deeper meaning when Mercury travels through this water sign. Thoughts are influenced by memories, feelings, and the need to protect what matters most.
After slightly over a year of its stay in the mutable sign of Gemini, Jupiter entered Cancer on June 9, 2025, where it will stay until June 30, 2026. Interestingly, the day when Jupiter moves into Leo in 2026 is the day of my actual birthday. Jupiter, also called the Greater Benefic, is the most generous and fortunate of all the planets. It symbolises expansion, abundance, wisdom, and divine protection. Jupiter governs areas of life connected to higher knowledge, ethics, philosophy, and religion. It uplifts and elevates, often providing opportunities for growth and clarity, especially in the area of life that is currently transiting in your chart. Jupiter brings blessings — but not always through ease. Its expansion can sometimes reveal too much, too soon. Yet when well-placed, Jupiter’s influence is typically protective, hopeful, and future-oriented. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, which means it expresses its most generous, nurturing, and protective qualities here. Cancer, on the other hand, is a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon. Deeply intuitive and emotionally driven, Cancer governs the home, family, and our memory. It is a fertile sign, strongly connected to the maternal principle, nurturing, care, and the emotional foundations that help us feel safe and rooted. Collectively, Jupiter in Cancer brings a greater focus on national identity, belonging, and cultural roots. There is a growing interest in heritage, ancestral wisdom, and the preservation of traditions when Jupiter is in Cancer. This transit can also stimulate growth in welfare programmes and protective policies, particularly those that support families, children, or the most vulnerable individuals.
The June 2025 Full Moon occurs in the fire sign Sagittarius at 20°. A full moon happens when the Sun and the Moon are at the same degree in opposing signs. This full moon falls in the 3rd decan of Sagittarius, ruled by the Sun, characterised by both Jupiterian expansiveness and Solar illumination. The Moon in Sagittarius yearns for freedom, expansion, and meaning. It seeks truth and a higher purpose; it is emotionally drawn to philosophy, travel, learning, and spiritual exploration. The Sun in Gemini, conversely, is curious, mentally alert, and focused on information, facts, and conversation. The influence of the 3rd decan of this full moon undoubtedly suggests a strong desire to illuminate truth or justice.
Then on June 17, 2025, Mars shifts into the earth sign Virgo. Where Leo pushes us to be seen, Virgo asks us to organise. It's not about loud gestures now—it’s about quiet mastery. Mars, the planet of drive, ambition, and assertiveness, finds itself in the earthy, mutable sign of Virgo until August 6. This energy is meticulous, analytical, and task-oriented.
We conclude the month under the influence of the deeply nurturing New Moon in Cancer, which occurs on June 25, offering us a fantastic opportunity for new beginnings connected to care, family, and inner security. This New Moon is conjunct Jupiter and in a sextile to Mars in Virgo, offering an interesting blend of emotional renewal, expansion, and grounded action. This lunation encourages deep reflection on home, family, and inner security, while Jupiter's presence amplifies compassion, emotional growth, and the desire to nurture or be nurtured. The supportive sextile to Mars in Virgo brings motivation to take practical steps toward well-being, organisation, and healing. It’s an ideal time to set intentions related to emotional fulfilment, domestic harmony, and healthy routines, blending heart-centred insight with purposeful action.
Have a wonderful month, and I look forward to catching up with you again next month.
Until then!
